Hello there lovelies! How have you been? Sorry I haven’t been around much. I’ve been busy. Or should I say, tired. Or how about busy and tired.

So tired that the minute I sit down to take a break during the day, I fall asleep. The 1-1/2 lb. baby that’s doing cartwheels in my belly is keeping me awake at night. In fact, I am sleeping as I am typing. So if I sound a little punchy, you’ll know why.:)

I’ve been working on this little corner in our office/playroom and making it into a crafty storage space for my creative junk.

And it makes me happy.

The hubster brought home some old but sturdy cabinets from a jobsite that he thought I might like. Bless him! He knows how to make me a happy woman!

Anyway, he installed them in this empty corner of our office, and I painted them white and added some new black hardware. I also painted the inside frames of the doors with, what else, chalkboard paint.

Avery and I worked on making some labels for storage jars. I used some leftover drop cloth fabric and stamps.

Very rustic but cute and organized. And easy.

We hot glued the fabric onto the jars, then used stamps for the lettering.

I like to be surrounded by things that inspire me and this is just the ticket! It’s still a work in progress, but everything in this old house is!

The quote I have on the center cabinet door (which I happen to love):

SONNET 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
